Alphabet Kids sees preschool as an important period in a child's early life. We think it is important for every child at this early stage to learn pre-math and pre-literacy skills. It is also where they build on their emotional and social skills.
Carrying this strong belief in the importance of preschool education, we have put many hours into making sure our curriculum covers as much as possible within the short time these children spend with us. In the couple hours they come to school each day, they will be exposed to new learning, new environments that will serve as the foundation for their early childhood.
Pre-math and Pre-literacy skills
Children will learn math skills like how to count numbers, learn the proper sequence of numbers, how to tell which shapes are bigger and how to count objects. They will also learn basic literacy skills, recognizing letters as well as the sequence of letters, how to read and write as well as phonetics.
Social and Interactive skills
We teach children how to get along with people of different races. In a diverse society like Singapore, in order to maintain our reputaion for being able to live together with other races in harmony, the young of the country need to be exposed to children of different races. We make sure we allow for these interactions to teach children how to work and play with people different from themselves.
